We had a very busy weekend with lots of visitors and new things. First of all, mommy braved the grocery store all by herself with all 4 children. It actually went well for 2/3 of the time until people kept stopping her and gawking and talking and admiring so what should have taken 30 minutes ended up taking 1 hour. So, needless to say, the babies were fed late, they were all crying, and Savannah was tired. Savannah pushed the little basket and mommy put some light things under the stroller. Savannah was a huge help. Oh well, mommy will learn to add extra time for people bugging us. She's decided to get a bumper sticker made to put on the stroller that says, "Gawk and walk!" That should help! Mommy understands....she would be excited to see triplet babies too in public! Amy, mommy's friend from the Parks & Rec, came over to visit, bring gifts, and hold/feed babies. It was fun! Aunt Lynda surprised us with another visit on Sat. afternoon to feed and hold babies, and then the Pederson gang surprised us with a visit to feed and hold babies also. We love having people over to help us feed and entertain babies! It helps us so much! Then our neighbor, Ms. Darlene, came over to bring us 2 more bags of Huggies diapers. She gets coupons in the mail and uses them to buy diapers for us. She is so nice! Thank you everyone for your visits!

Baby Update--3 months!

What is this????? Daddy was having fun adding water to Katelyn's hair and sticking it up! Poor thing! Talk about a bad hair day!!!

I can't believe the babies are 3 months old already! We went back to Dr. Cook this morning for weight checks and reflux checks! Overall the doctor is okay with everything but not totally satisfied. The reflux and excessive spit-up has hindered their growth. I really think the new meds--Prevacid and Bethanacol are helping, but they have only been on them for 10 days. So, the plan is to continue on them for the next month and increase the Bethanacol a little bit and see if we can get the babies to eat more without spitting up. Currently they usually feed 5 times a day at 5 ounces per feeding or more or less depending on each babies' capability at the time. He said term babies at this point usually eat 28-32 ounces per day, and the triplets are taking in about 24-26 ounces per day currently, so we're not far off. Today, Cameron weighed 9 1/2 lbs., Parker was 9 lbs., and Katelyn was 8 1/2 lbs. Cameron is still the longest, with Parker not far behind, and Katelyn right behind him. They are all in the 0% tile for everything with the exception of Parker's head at 15 1/4 inches which is in the 4th %tile--maybe he is a "Pederson" after all!!!!! We are hoping that the medication will get the reflux under control to allow the babies to bulk up this next month and gain more weight. If not, Dr. Cook is going to refer us to a Pediatric GI doctor next visit.

Church on Sunday!

Savannah

We took the entire family to church on Father's Day to stay for the first time ever on Sunday! I am proud to say it was a success. Of course, Savannah had a great time in her new ladybug dress, and learned about Jesus and made some cool stuff for daddy! The babies did very well also. Thanks to Miss Angie, Miss Sarah, and Miss Melissa! They are my friends and all missed Sunday School and church to take care of the babies. They were definitely ready for us. Thanks for everyone at Friendship who cleaned, made phone calls, collected equipment, and got everything ready for our babies to arrive. We truly appreciate everyone! The babies ate well and didn't spit up and loved to be held and didn't even cry! Just wait....it will come! Enjoy some pics!

New Trampoline!

Mommy and daddy bought Savannah a new trampoline for her birthday deciding that it was a good investment since the babies would use it some day. We knew we would need plenty of outdoor entertainment soon, and hopefully this will do it along with some swings! Daddy got it put together all by himself late Sunday evening, so Savannah and I just had to try it out--what fun! It is such a workout. I was tired in 5 minutes! Seriously! I am still so worn out from bedrest for so long. Enjoy a few pics!

Our Little Miss USA!

Silly Savannah!

My first baby is 3 years old today! My, does time fly! Savannah woke up this morning greeted with a princess, Elmo, and camo star balloon and art easel with chalk and magnetic letters. She also had new p.j.'s and drawing paper. She was so excited! She got her favorite breakfast food--bacon and orange juice for breakfast. She had her 3 year old checkup with Dr. Cook and passed with flying colors. He said her language was well advanced for her age, she weighed 34 lbs, and was 37 1/2 inches tall. She even had her blood pressure taken for the first time and didn't seem to mind because mommy reminded her it was the same thing that she got to push buttons for with Nurse Michelle while mommy was on bedrest in the hospital with the babies. She remembered well! She was also happy not to receive any shots today! Yahoo! She got a few things for her kitchen from Gram and Pop along with some bathtub markers and a new cash register! She loved it all! She got a soccer goal and golf clubs and balls from Nana and Papaw too! What more could a 3 year old want???? Happy Birthday sweet girl! We love you!
