Savannah and our very first snowman!
Despite mommy being alone with babies, Savannah was able to have some fun in the snow. For my east coast friends, we got the most snow ever in the DFW area over the last 24 hours. 12 1/2 inches to be exact. Shawn put a measuring stick to our snow in the yard, and it was 7 inches. It is absolutely beautiful outside. I did not get the babies outside since they are not walking and don't have the proper winter weather attire....bummer! Yesterday, our neighbor, Hannah and her friend, came to get Savannah to play, and they taught her how to make her first snowball. She stayed outside for about 1/2 an hour. Last night when daddy got home, they went sledding down the steep hill at Joe Farmer Rec. Center for about 45 minutes. Daddy said she had a blast, and a boy next to her let her borrow his "real" snow disc so Savannah went fast and had something to hold onto. The pic you will see is of her in our extra dog pool before she got the disc. Then this morning while the babies slept, Savannah and mommy were able to play outside and build a snowman for an hour and 15 minutes. It was so much fun. Hannah and her friend came out at the end and our church neighbor friends, Julie and J.C., came down for a little while to play also. We had a great time! Enjoy!
A New Ride?????
Savannah wanted her picture taken in her car seat also--look at those tights!!!!
Left-rt...Parker, Katelyn, Cameron
Parker decided it wasn't so bad after all!!!!
Yes, it's true! The babies got a new ride on Sunday to church and absolutely loved it! I can't believe that my preemie triplets were able to change to forward facing car seats before they turned 1! Wow! The car seats were courtesy of both sets of grandparents for Christmas and their birthdays. They are Radian 80's from Sunshine Kids and just fit on the back bench of the van which is perfect so Savannah can still sit in her car seat in one captain's chair and we can still keep one seat out so we have room to maneuver in and out to buckle. The babies were so pleased to be able to see mommy when she looked back and each other. They were giggling and had eternal grins on their faces the whole way to church! By the way, Parker still leads the pack at 20 lbs. 8 oz., Katelyn follows at 20 lbs. 4 oz., and Cameron is last at 19 lbs. 12 oz.

Updated Pics of the Trips!

Cameron, Parker, and Katelyn in birth order.
My friend, Cherie from church, designed these cute onesies for the babies. They are absolutely adorable. In case you can't read them....Cameron's says, "Older and Wiser", Parker's says, "Stuck in the Middle", and Katelyn's says, "Younger and Cuter"! Cherie is also the one who made the bottle slings we use every day to feed the babies. www.bottlesling.com is where you can find all of her products. Thanks Cherie!

Savannah's Baking and Endoscopy!!!!!

Watch out cousin Katie.....here's a chef in the making!!!!!
Chef Savannah getting ready to bake!
Savannah got a baking set for Christmas from our neighbors, the Griffin's, and we bought some cake mix and frosting and got busy. Mommy and Savannah had so much fun. She learned how to read the recipe and follow directions and how to bake mini cupcakes from start to finish, even cleaning the kitchen. A good time was had by all!
Savannah also had an endoscopy by Dr. Jack An on Jan. 6, 2010. She did great and was a pro. They just used happy gas on her, and I got to stay in the room until she went to sleep and they brought me back as soon as she woke up in recovery. She said "mommy" and had a great big smile and hug waiting for me when I arrived. She was so brave. Dr. An discovered an ulcer in her intestine which has been causing her pain since last April. We are finally glad to have an answer as we've been trying countless medicines and have done lots of tests, procedures, etc. She is currently taking Prevacid which is helping but not getting rid of the pain or complaints yet. Please pray that God will heal this ulcer soon.

Parker before the haircut!
Parker's hair was getting crazy, so mommy gave daddy permission to buzz-cut his hair on New Year's Day! Parker was a champ and only gave 1 sad face with his bottom lip down but never cried. It was freezing out there! Parker sat in our extra bath seat on the tailgate of daddy's truck with sisters and brother bundled up looking on. He was such a big boy, and we were so proud of him! Cameron just had to watch as he had no hair to cut on this day!!!!!

Okay, I know I am way behind. I will attempt to catch-up over the next few days. Christmas was wonderful with Savannah and the babies. Savannah was so much fun this year as she was way into Santa and the reindeer and leaving food for both of them. We didn't forget about the "real" reason as Luke 2 was read aloud and a birthday cake was made for Jesus to celebrate his birth. She enjoyed that as well. It was so cool that it snowed because the reindeer actually made tracks in the snow where she left reindeer food for them. We only have it on our video camera! Savannah's face was priceless! She got her pink overalls and Fisher-Price digital camera that she asked him for and was satisfied. The babies had a good time with their camera as well and Katelyn got matching overalls to Savannah's and the boys got camo overalls to be worn this summer. We went to my parents house and met my brother's family on Christmas Eve and then celebrated with my inlaws in Arlington on Christmas Day. It was wonderful, but we sure were exhausted. The babies mostly loved making messes and playing in paper, boxes, etc. It was crazy for sure!
